My First Quilting Project
I made this before I knew what quilting was. I think I appliqued the rainbow colors on the muslin. This was a birthday gift for a friend about 20 years ago.

Christmas Ornaments for my Chat Group - 1996
A school of trout Christmas Ornaments I made last year for my IRC needlework group #FIBERLOVERS. I found a clip art of a trout and had it transferred on muslin. I whipped stitched around the little bodies and stuffed them as I went. I used fabric paints to give them some color.

A Wallhanging I cross-stitched for my Mom
One year I gave my Mom a "blue ribbon" for her birthday. I stitched the Precious Moments(tm) "Mother Sew Dear" and finished it as a blue ribbon.

InterQuilt Sack Lunch Swap
This was my deli lunch for a swap I participated in on InterQuilt. The requirement was to use 2 yards of fabric and create a meal. I made the buns by wrapping beige fabric around quilt batting. I cut onion, tomatoes, cheese, & sliced beef from fabric scraps. The wrapped dessert was titled "Kona Chocolates" because I had Kona Fabric Fat Quarters inside the chocolate fabric. I made a Texas-sized pretzel from batting and brown pindot fabric.

Quilted Wallhanging
This was a cooperative effort for a baby shower. The dad chose Biblical scriptures for each letter of the girl's name. I graphed out - the old fashion way on graph paper - the letters for the scriptures. We changed the colors of the cross-stiched characters to coordinate with the wallhanging fabric. The ladies from the church each cross-stiched a panel. Quite a heirloom for that little girl. Well, she's probably in high school now.
